Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga Massage (or Thai Massage) is a dynamic body work therapy based on Yoga, Ayurveda and traditional medicine from Thailand. The practitioner guides the recipient through a series of reclined yoga postures while palming and thumbing pressure points and vital lines of the recipient’s musculature. It increases flexibility through movement, relaxes the muscles and nervous system with various pressure techniques, and brings balance to the energy system of the body through pressure points. You receive the benefits of massage and yoga at the same time. Some call it "lazy man's yoga".
Traditional Thai Yoga Massage is done fully clothed on a thick floor mat. No oils or lotions are used. Please wear comfortable clothing, long pajama-type pants and a t-shirt with long or short sleeves. If you don't have suitable attire, clothing will be provided for you. Avoid tight fitting sport tops and shorts. Soft breathable fabrics are best.
